Better Tarrant is one the platforms owned by Better County Media.

Our business model is self-sustaining through our Membership model, partnerships, and our Creative Content Studio. Better Tarrant partners with local businesses and organization that desire to make Tarrant County better through engaging with young Tarrant County locals, research, content creation strategies, story-telling, events, and custom experiences. All of which ultimately end up in Better Tarrant's daily newsletter. Often times our custom and curated newsletter content will be sponsored by Tarrant County partners. And, other times our content is presented as a community enrichment project.

What is a sponsored project? A sponsored project is typically story-telling content made possible via financial support by a Tarrant County partner. We work within our content creation framework producing compelling story-telling ideas and concepts proven to gain traction and attract the highest levels of engagement. Better Tarrant's sponsored partner projects captures the imagination of Tarrant County youthful vibe while connecting the businesses and organization's message to what locals care about. These projects do not receive partner review prior to publication. These projects are deliberately labeled: "Made possible by [partner's name]".

What is a marketing project? A marketing project is created for organizations and businesses that make Tarrant County better through the selling of goods and/or services. Our Creative Content Studio is intentional to be distinctive in our separation as an organization or personally with this paid content. These projects receive partner review prior to publication. These projects are deliberately labeled: "Produced for [partner's name]".

How do we chose partners we work with?

• Our passion is working with organizations and businesses that want the impact of a Better Tarrant County.

• We evaluate clients on a number of factors, including whether we think their mission is aligned with that of our local properties and the expectations of our local communities.

• Clients are good potential partner when their mission aligns with making Tarrant County better.

• Better Tarrant's approach is to be straight up. If there's a conversation to be had about how we go about making Tarrant County better, we welcome that discussion. And, will be as honest and direct about our business relationships with all stake-holders of Tarrant County.
